Welcome to my blog! A collaboration of Inner Zen Acupuncture and Miracle Babies Fertility Coaching. This is a compassionate space dedicated to all thing’s fertility and pregnancy.
A bit about me. I am a Registered Acupuncturist, Doula, Herbal Consultant and Nutrition student. My journey into the alternative/holistic world began in my 20’s when I started taking interest courses to broaden my knowledge and gain insight with my plan to one day, start a practice of my own.
In 1999, I became a Doula (professional labor and birth support) but after 2 years, realized how difficult this was with 3 young children, as babies make their debut exactly when they want to and take as long as they want! I found that I was unable to put in the hours necessary to make this a viable business, although I did continue to attend births when the occasion arose until 2018. With the thought of wanting to have a holistic practice still in mind, in 2001, I began my training to become a Registered Acupuncturist, graduating in 2002 from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
Working with fertility and pregnancy came naturally to me. I had my own experiences plus, my training and experience as a Doula was invaluable. Some might say it was a ‘calling’ and I agree. My first patient was a fertility patient as was my second, third and so forth. I was eager to learn all that I could about infertility and how to treat it using acupuncture, nutrition, nutritional supplements and herbs. This became my passion and the best part, I have never felt that I am just doing a job.
Over the years, I have helped countless women with their fertility journeys. I have offered caring advice, a kind ear and a compassionate, empathic heart. I truly want every woman who walks through my door to become a mama and I offer them all positive energy. My motto? Never take away a person’s hope. It may be all they have.
