Trigger Point Acupuncture For Pain

Acupuncture Physiatrics or trigger point acupuncture is a very effective method of treating muscular and skeletal pain of all types and origins. This method of pain relief uses techniques that involve both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theories and methodologies combined with modern day trigger point release approaches.

Trigger points are also known as “knots” in the muscles which can be very painful. This combination of old meets new helps to release tight trigger points quickly and effectively by releasing these triggers and allowing the muscles to relax.

Acupuncture Physiatrics can also require fewer treatments for the patient compared with other acupuncture techniques. Depending on where the pain is, how chronic it may be and what type of injury may have caused the issue, the patient may only require 4 to 6 treatments. This of course, can vary from patient to patient.

At Inner Zen Acupuncture, we use Acupuncture Physiatrics for almost all muscular pain relief. There is no extra charge for this technique. We have been using this method of pain treatment for 13 years in our clinic.
